Inspiration....one of my own altered photographs of a lovely piece of Chihuly glass on board the Celebrity Millenium. Great artwork on board that ship, just so you know.
Why I like this photo; vibrant color and contrast, layers of shape and translucence, and it is somehow mysterious. It could be a microscopic view of some strange compound, or the center of a flower, or even a Hubble view of a far-off interstellar gaseous anomaly. No matter what it is, it is intriguing and it makes me think.
